The "i's" in "Team"

p>”There's No “I” in team! The well-worn adage seems to pop-up every once in awhile…and well…I

disagree.

Seth Godin's post, The Cost of Neutral, and his focus on those that “initiate,” really had me reflecting. While I get the teamwork…working together…collaboration “thing,” I also

actively seek out my “I” people on the “team.”.That is, those on the team who make it part of their professional practice to:

  • Initiate
  • Inquire
  • Invent
  • Innovate
  • Inspire
  • Involve
  • Instil
  • Improve
  • Ignite
  • Include…

I am sure there are more; feel free

to add your own “I's” important in your “team.”

“I” love the paradigm shift on TEAM–Intuitive, Integrity, Integrate, Incorporate. This will be incorporated into my next Team Mgt.
