    Hi,
I work for Ear Candy Charity, a nonprofit dedicated to providing youth access to music education. We recently launched an online fundraising campaign on the popular crowd funding website, Indiegogo.com. Our goal of $25,000 will help launch our newest program, Online Instrument Drives, which is an easy to use donation platform that helps thousands of youth receive the instruments they need to participate in music education!

The campaign launched on August 15 and will run for a month until September 14. We are beyond excited about expanding Instrument Drives and would love your help in getting the word out to your listeners/followers?

Please take a moment to view the campaign and short overview video to find out more about this exciting new program.

If you would like to help us to spread the word, please contact me.

    Hello fellow administrators,

I was happy to find your blog and have found the articles to be really helpful. I work with a small start-up that helps small schools streamline their student information systems so that principals and teachers can spend more time with students and less time on paperwork! I would love to contribute an article to this forum if possible. How can I submit a request?

    Thank you!

For all of you wonderful school leaders, thank you for your commitment to improving the lives of our children!

I am the co-creator and author of a free resource to help teachers teach health and advisory. Please use it and share it with your staff. I also have a passion to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and to reduce the rates of teens affected. Our work aims to help you to do this as well. http://www.YourSelfSeries.com

Happy to help any way I can. Thank you! ~Paula, tweet: @PaulaPrentis

Does anyone have a great “manual” for teaching and learning in your district for creating consistency across a school system you might be willing to share with our district?

      Jo

My suggestion is to do a book study with your lead teachers (from every campus) ” Classroom instruction that works”- Marzano. Then have them lead the initiative at their campuses.

      There is really no manual.

Now if you are looking for something like Smart Walks.- this is an administrative walk through with a training manual, I would suggest that by colleagues on call.

I hope these are helpful resources.

I will share your article, 10 Summer Tips for Principals, with our partner school Principals. Great resources here! I would love to share our resource for math intervention. The I CAN Learn math software is the only middle school math program recognized by the US Dept of Ed’s What Works Clearinghouse as having positive effects. Many of you, no doubt, do a great job leading and developing your staff. If you don’t give your Teachers the most effective tools then you will lose, to some degree, the positive effects of your leadership. The I CAN Learn math program is scientifically proven to be effective. Princeton University conducted a study of our program and found it to be more effective than other interventions. The study also reported that I CAN Learn is a cost effective solution. Check out the testimonials on our website to read what school Principals have to say about our program.

    Thank you!
