Cale Birk

Cale Birk is currently the Principal of South Kamloops Secondary School in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.  SKSS is a Grade 8-12 Dual-Track French Immersion School of 1400 students.  Through the lens of the Professional Learning Community model, Cale is committed to creating mechanisms within the school day for teachers and students to collaborate, to finding promising practices in assessment, and to intervention strategies to support all learners.  With a young family and a passion for coaching, Cale knows the importance of balance in the busy life of a school-based administrator.  You can follow Cale’s posts on his blog, The Learning Nation.

    Thank you for posting your insight on “what would you do if you knew you wouldn’t fail”! Great thought for all to keep in mind, especially students as they find their niche in this world.
