Travis McNaughton is the Assistant Principal and teacher at Muir Lake School in Parkland School Division. He is passionate about leadership, adding value to people and having an impact in our world. He is motivated to see others to learn, grow, and succeed. He has been and continues to be inspired by other leaders and strives to do the same. He believes schools need to continually pursue innovation and creativity. Students have a voice that needs to be heard. They should collaborate in a world wide learning community; not confined to the four walls of their classroom. True learning is relevant and meaningful and schools must provide opportunity for students to contribute to our world in a meaningful way: today and in the future.
Travis is married and has one daughter and two sons and is actively involved in the community through sports and his church.
